When a party wants to register a Judgment received in another district in the Western District of Wisconsin, they submit the Certification of Judgment for Registration in Another District which was signed by the originating court. Our court will open a Miscellaneous case (mp). Filings are accept via U.S. Mail or over the counter.

Filing Requirements:

  • Form B2650 - Certification of Judgment for Registration in Another District (form is signed by the clerk from the originating court with a certified copy of the Judgment attached.)

  • $52.00 fee (payable to Clerk of U.S. Bankruptcy Court)

When a party wants to obtain a certified copy of a Judgment entered in the Western District of Wisconsin for registration in another district, the Clerk's Office will complete Form B2650 - Certification of Judgment for Registration in Another District and send the form to the Chief Deputy Clerk for review. The form will then be returned to the requesting party along with a certified copy of the Judgment.
