Pre-Hearing/Trial documents are filed in accordance with the Court's Pre-Hearing or Pre-Trial Order, the Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure, and the Federal Rules of Evidence.

Trial/Hearing Exhibits

Counsel shall provide the Court with electronic and paper copies of all exhibits. Paper copies must be tabbed and bound when appropriate. Exhibits must be filed electronically and must be indexed similar to the paper copies. Paper copies are to be delivered to the Court three (3)  business days prior to the hearing. The Court requires that paper copies of all exhibits be brought to the final hearing or trial. A second set of exhibits should be available for the witness(es) on the day of the hearing.

To File Electronically:

  1. Log into CM/ECF.

  2. Select [Bankruptcy > Miscellaneous ] or [Adversary  > Miscellaneous].

  3. Enter the case number (e.g, xx-xxxxx).

  4. Select [Statement of Case, List of Exhibits, List of Witnesses] or [List of Exhibits (and/or) List of Witnesses] from the event list.

  5. Select the party filer.

  6. Browse to select the documents (.pdf file).

    See above note regarding exhibits.

  7. Refer to the primary pleading that is on the Court's calendar (e.g., Motion/Application, Objection to Exemptions, Objection to Claim, Plan, Complaint, etc.).

  8. Modify the text as appropriate.

  9. Verify the final docket text; if correct, click [Next] to submit your document(s).

    Note: The Notice of Electronic Filing displays giving you the document number. Copies of this notice are immediately e-mailed to all participants who receive electronic notification in the case.
