Event: Bankruptcy > Miscellaneous > Chapter 11 Monthly Operating Report (UST FORM 11 - MOR)

Chapter 11 debtors are required to file monthly financial reports.

A monthly operating report must be filed with the court no later than the 21st day of the month immediately following the reporting period covered by the MOR.

What is the MOR and who must complete it?

A chapter 11 debtor who does not qualify as a "small business debtor" under 11 U.S.C. § 101(51D) or a subchapter V debtor, as defined in 11 U.S.C. §1182, must complete a report of the debtor's financial condition and status of operations for each calendar month using UST Form 11-MOR together with any required supporting documentation.

Any required supporting documentation must be filed with the court as separate attachments to the MOR.

NOTE: The Chapter 11 Monthly Operating Report (MOR) UST Form 11-MOR must be used for all report filings for non-small business debtors and can be downloaded from the U.S. Trustee Program's website at https://www.justice.gov/ust/chapter-11-operating-reports

A copy of the report must be filed with the court.

To File Electronically:

  1. Log into CM/ECF.

  2. Select [Bankruptcy >  Miscellaneous].

  3. Enter the case number (e.g, xx-xxxxx).

  4. Select [Chapter 11 Monthly Operating Report (UST FORM 11-MOR)] from the event list.

  5. Select the party filer.

  6. Browse to select the Operating Report (.pdf file).

  7. Select the radio button to indicate if the case is Jointly Administered.

    1. If the case is jointly administered, select the radio button to indicate if the report is being filed for the lead case. 

    2. If the report is NOT being filed for the lead case, enter the lead case number.

      1. Cases that are not jointly administered or are the lead case will go directly to #10.

  8. Enter filing period (e.g., "July 2004" or "period ending July 31, 2004").

  9. Modify the text as appropriate.

  10. Verify the final docket text; if correct, click [Next] to submit your document(s).

    Note: The Notice of Electronic Filing displays giving you the document number. Copies of this notice are immediately e-mailed to all participants who receive electronic notification in the case.
