Event: Bankruptcy > Miscellaneous > Operating Report

Chapter 11 and Chapter 12 debtors are required to file monthly financial reports.

NOTE: CHAPTER 11 Cases have specific events and forms.

The Chapter 11 Monthly Operating Report (MOR) form must be used for all report filings for non-small business debtors and can be downloaded from the U.S. Trustee Program's website at https://www.justice.gov/ust/chapter-11-operating-reports

The Chapter 11 Small Business Monthly Operating Report Official Form 425C must be used in a small business or subchapter V bankruptcy case.
Form 425C can be downloaded from the U.S. Courts' website.

A copy of the report must be filed with the court.

To File Electronically:

  1. Log into CM/ECF.

  2. Select [Bankruptcy >  Miscellaneous].

  3. Enter the case number (e.g, xx-xxxxx).

  4. Select [Operating Report] from the event list.

  5. Select the party filer.

  6. Browse to select the Operating Report (.pdf file).

  7. Enter filing period (e.g., "July 2004" or "period ending July 31, 2004").

  8. Modify the text as appropriate.

  9. Verify the final docket text; if correct, click [Next] to submit your document(s).

    Note: The Notice of Electronic Filing displays giving you the document number. Copies of this notice are immediately e-mailed to all participants who receive electronic notification in the case.

UPDATES:

08/05/2021  Modified to direct Chapter 11 non-small business debtors to docket Chapter 11 Monthly Operating Report or Chapter 11 Post-Confirmation Report events and direct Chapter 11 Small Business Debtors to docket the Small Business Monthly Operating Report.
